How to watch cricket in Australia on Google Now
In the lead-up to the World Cup, the BBC decided to take the opportunity to introduce Google Now to cricket.
The idea was to introduce a new, unique feature for the country’s biggest sport to provide an alternative to the likes of Sky Sports and BT Sport.
Google Now’s introduction to cricket has been a success, but the sport is not the only sport to have tried to make use of Google Now.
What if you had a way to read the latest news in the local language on Google Plus?
The BBC decided this was an interesting way to get their cricket news, but it wasn’t something they had in mind for cricket.
“I think it’s a bit early to say that it’s going to be hugely successful in cricket, but I think it will be,” said BBC Sport cricket editor David Prowse.
“But we have a very strong community of fans, who love the sport.
I think that there is a lot of interest in cricket and cricket fans.”
The news from the BBC’s cricket section is delivered via Google Plus in the UK, but Google Now also offers a number of other services for cricket fans to access.
“There’s a lot more to it, and I think you’re going to see more of that in the future,” said Prowso.
“There are a lot less people out there with Google Now, so you’ll see a lot bigger opportunities for us.”
Prowse said cricket fans could also expect to see a more focused focus on cricket news in other areas.
He added that the BBC had already been looking into the possibility of using Google Now for local radio in England.
“We think it would be a really good way of reaching people who might be a bit out of the loop and a bit lost on the news of the day,” he said.
“And the same applies to cricket fans.
We want to bring people back in.
We think it is an exciting and exciting time to be a cricket fan.”
Google Plus has also been a hot topic in the sport, with fans of cricket and their supporters in particular looking to get involved with the social network.
“I do think that the sport has done a great job at trying to connect people in the community to the sport,” Prowsey said.
“So I think this is the next big thing, I think, that people will be interested in.”
