Hockey: Can the Bruins win another game?
The NHL playoffs could be a close call for the Bruins.
The Bruins are playing well at the moment, but the playoffs could end up being more about their struggles.
They lost two games to the Detroit Red Wings and the Tampa Bay Lightning, and they also suffered another loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.
The first two games against the Wings, though, were the best of their careers.
They also won three of the four games.
Boston, meanwhile, is on a seven-game winning streak, and the Bruins have not lost three consecutive games since April 23.
The team is also undefeated on its road trip.
They are 3-0-1 in the last five games.
Here are five things to watch.
What we learned: It’s a big win for the Boston Bruins, who are 2-1-1 all-time against the Lightning and 3-1 against the Red Wings.
Their last loss came on March 6, which was when the Bruins lost 4-1 at home to the St. Louis Blues.
The Red Wings, meanwhile are 1-3-1 and are off to their worst start since they joined the NHL in 2003.
That’s right, they have lost five of six.
Their record at home is 5-7-0.
The other two games will be against the Flyers and the Lightning.
The Flyers, meanwhile were 4-3 at home against the Bruins, including a 4-2 win on March 8.
The Lightning were 0-4 on their road trip, and their only win on the road was a 4:18 loss to New Jersey on March 21.
What’s next: The Bruins host the Detroit Blues on Saturday, March 26, before hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday, March 28.
They host the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, March 29 and host the New York Rangers on Saturday.
The two games are on the East Coast.
Boston is also scheduled to play at Detroit on Saturday night.
