CAKARAN CATCHERS: TAMA BODHI STRIKES TO GET PENALTY FROM JAPAN for kicking India’s Rohit Sharma
CAKARA: Tama Bodhi, a member of the Indian cricket team, was slapped with a three-game ban by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) for kicking out the shoulder of India’s paceman Rohit Smith on the fourth day of the second Test of the ongoing Champions Trophy between India and Pakistan on Tuesday.
Tama Bodhin was fined $2,500 by the ICC on Tuesday for kicking Rohit during the third and fourth innings of the Champions Trophy.
Bodhi was not at the match and the ATC later announced a ban.
India’s captain Virat Kohli was quick to congratulate the umpires on the outcome of the match.
“This is a huge win for India and the cricket world,” Kohli said on Twitter.
